Chapter 15 is here!
I can’t believe I wrote a chapter in a book, and it got published!
I am pleased to announce that the co-edited book volume entitled Educators’ Work Integrated Experiences: Stories from the Trenches has been published by Springer. The Book was released via Amazon on October 9th and can be found HERE
It was an honor to be invited to write Chapter 15 – it gave me the opportunity to capture the importance and excitement of my education-focused travels. Each school visit deepened my belief in the relevance of work-integrated learning (WIL), especially in today’s diverse classrooms.
This work makes me a better teacher and I am committed to sharing what I know and what I learn with teachers around the globe. My hope is that my experiences inform and inspire your work as much as it has mine.
From what I’ve seen so far, the book will have particular interest to
~~ Educators seeking new approaches to professional
growth
~ School administrators aiming to foster innovation
~Pre-service, in-service or retired educators or those in Social Sciences and Humanities
Most of all though, my particular chapter is aimed at, and will resonate with, individual teachers aspiring to find and share the joy in teaching and learning math. With this in mind, I will be sharing elements of the chapter here in my blog over the coming months as well as in my Facebook Community – Amy’s Global Math Community which you can join by HERE .
As always, if you are curious to know more and want to connect you can reach me via Amy’s Global Math Community or via email at amyworld2math@gmail.com – looking forward to hearing from you.
